NATIONAL WILDFIRE PREPAREDNESS MONTH!

May is National Wildfire Preparedness Month in Oregon! Join friends and neighbors across the state and the nation by getting ready for fire season. May 7 is National Wildfire Preparedness Day. To learn more about 2016 Wildfire Community Preparedness Day, visit WildfirePrepDay.org

Grant County Firewise will be giving a presentation at OSU Extension's Tree School East on April 23, 2016 at Baker High School in Baker City. The program titled Firewise: Ready, Set, Go! will introduce Firewise concepts and the class will examine critical factors that lead to homes burning in the wildland interface.
